A nice “mild rocker” with a “do wop” rhythm, Cliff recorded this song for his second studio album “Cliff Sings” in 1959. The Shadows are credited as backing him, although even at this early stage in his career, Norrie Paramor (his producer) was edging The Shadows out and the tracks on this and subsequent albums were shared 50/50 between The Shadows and Paramor’s orchestra. Six months later, Elvis Presley recorded this song as the b-side to “Are You Lonesome Tonight”.
