In this Guitar Tutorial, I will show you how to play Theme for Young Lovers by The Shadows. This Guitar Instrumental is easy to learn and play along with guitar tabs.
Hank Marvin’s sound is the most discussed of all and is very diverse. It is impossible to imitate a sound one-to-one, there are too many factors involved. I think the most important thing to get this sound is the echo, you need an echo with real EFTP echoes from Charlie Hall and of course many other things. There are some echoes who have eftp installed but not available. watch out in the web to get a Magicstomp, Alesis Q2, Q20, GT or Zoom Pedals are good.
Especially the EQ settings are one of the most important things! Ask for settings, I will told you!

Played with my Fender Player Limited Stratocaster with Kinman FV-HMS pickups, recorded with a Vox AC 15 with a Two Notes Torpedo Load Box and a Engl Cab Sim which makes a very good job. I used a Yamaha Magicstomp Delay with EFTP Echo U13 with the bridge pickup through an Tascam Model 12 Interface, edited with Logic Pro and cut with Final Cut Pro.
