Mick Morris is an English guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer and author and writer. In addition to acoustic and electric guitar, Mick also plays mandolin, banjo, bazoukie, ukulele and drums. Over his career he has been noted for his versatility, playing in the rock, country, jazz and folk genres. He has played with a wide variety of well-known artists over the years as well. During the 70’s Mick was a founding member of the band Mirkwood who would release one self-titled in 1973. Since 2010, along with guitarist Colin Hinds, and has played as the duo Hands On! In 2011 Mick collaborated on the theme music for the soundtrack to the award-winning film ‘Watermark’, as well as releasing his own recordings in recent years. Mr. Morris has also written several short stories and poems and a couple of novels. Most recently my guest has published a biography of guitarist Jeff Beck, entitled Jeff: The One, Alone.
