The 1981 album, “Physical” marked ten years of hit albums for Olivia. Her first was “If Not For You” in 1971. “Physical”, which reached #6 in the US (UK #11 and Australia #3) gave rise to three hit singles: “Physical”, “Make A Move On Me” and “Landslide”.

The album also included this track written by Hank Marvin of the Shadows. On 45, it was released as the b-side of Tied-Up, which reached #38 on the Hot-100 in 1982.

Olivia’s long time producer, John Farrar and Hank Marvin were in the group, Marvin Welch And Farrar in the early 70s. John and Hank wrote “Sam” for Olivia in 1977 with Don Black.

“Silvery Rain” was released previously by Marvin, Welch and Farrar (1971), Cliff Richard (1971) and Hank Marvin (1977).
