“Alfie” is a song written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David to promote the 1966 film Alfie. The song was a major hit for Cilla Black (UK) and Dionne Warwick (US).

Hank Marvin made an instrumental version for his 2017 solo album “Without a word” Mine is a cover of Hank’s version using a BT made from Hank’s original sound recording with Hank EQ’d down and is free to download here :- http://www.philmcgarrick.co.uk/CD.html

I made out Tabs the way I played it which are free to download here :-

Sound recorded using my Fender Custom 56 Nos Stratocaster with Kinman Impersonator 54 V3 pickups on neck position into an Alesis Quadraverb Q2 with EFTP patch 1-65 “Nivram” and into Cubase on the computer.
A Dunlop DVP 1 was used for the swells. Video made with 3 x Sony SR12 camcorders and edited with the Cubase sound in Sony Vegas pro 9. Please enjoy “Alfie”
