Cliff and Friends

This Video is in special memory of my good friend and fellow guitarist John Skelton (Loxsilan on YT) who passed away on Monday 24th Sept 2018.
John was a close friend and we recorded many duets together.
There are some pictures of him during the brass solo on this song.
He will be sadly missed.

“This Guy’s in Love with You” is a song written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, and recorded by Herb Alpert. Although known primarily for his trumpet playing as the leader of the Tijuana Brass, Alpert sang lead vocals on this solo recording, arranged by Bacharach.

Hank Marvin recorded an acoustic version for his 1st solo album entitled “Hank Marvin” in 1969. I used my Fender custom Stratocaster 56 nos with Kinman Impersonator 54 V3 pickups for my recording.Through an Alesis Quadraverb Q2 with EFTP patch 0-36 and recorded in Cubase SX 6 on the computer.
