Cliff and Friends

Before there was the British Invasion, there was Cliff Richard. Cliff’s cover of “It’s All in the Game” is at #47 today and will peak at #25 on Feb. 15th, 1 week after the Beatles first appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show and American Bandstand moved to Hollywood. This would be his biggest hit in the U.S. until he released “Devil Woman” (#6) in 1976.

The Philly regulars dancing today include Bruce Richard & Barbara Warchol (1:03), Bobby Baritz & Michelle Liebowitz (1:20) and Pat Carpino and Ailyene Silverman (2:51).
