Here is my version of the instrumental “Sacha” which was originally recorded by Hank Marvin in 1969 for his self-titled debut solo album which followed the breakup of The Shadows in 1968. It was written by Jerry Lordan, Roger Greenaway and Roger Cook and was also released as a single with the B-Side “Sunday For Seven Days”.
I played this using my Fender Stratocaster (Bridge Pickup) and the Zoom G2.1Nu. The clean sections were played using the EFTP A9 patch with the overdriven/distorted sections with a modified patch based on the Ibanez Tube Screamer. The backing track was from the CD “UB Hank Vol.6” with tablature written by Steve Gibb
I hope you enjoy my rendition of this very nice tune
