A 1963 box office hit British Musical Film (a cast of talents whom became icons and legends), where during a wet British summer a bus mechanic Don (Cliff Richard) and friends persuaded a London Transport Company to lend him and his friends an double-decker bus. They convert the bus into a holiday caravan, which they drive across continental Europe, intending to reach the South of France. However, their eventual destination is Athens, Greece. On the way, they are joined by a trio of young women, and a runaway American singer Barbara (Lauri Peters) pretending to be male, herself being pursued by her mother and agent.
