Since you can’t dial delay times in ms on the device (unless you use their softare maybe), an easier way to achieve something close to Hank Marvin’s delay on Apache (The Shadows) with the Flashback Triple Delay is set it as followed:
First make sure to select “Serial” mode
Delay 1
– switch the preset selector to “Delay 1”
– turn the delay type selector to “Tape”
– tap the the tempo on the pedal
– set the Time knob to the max
– set the Repeat knob to the min (one repeat only)
– turn the Mix knob to about 10 o’clock
– turn the Subdiv to eigth note triplets (top one at noon)
– save into the preset #1 by long pressing it
Delay 2
– disable preset #1
– enable preset #2
– switch the preset selector to “Delay 2”
– turn the delay type selector to “Tape”
– tap the the tempo on the pedal
– turn the Subdiv to quarter note (second from the left)
– keep the rest the same
– save into the preset #2 by long pressing it
“Apache” is at 134bpm, so that should get the first delay (8th triplet) to about 149ms and the second delay (quarter) to about 448ms. The first delay would repeat your note quickly after you pluck it and both will feed into the second delay that will repeat them: da da … da da.
Doing this this way also has the advantage to be able to set the delay for a slower tempo for practicing.
