Mark Raymond and the Cyclones managed to get a recording contract with Columbia records in 1964.
But when they arrived in London to record there first single they were informed that there was already an American band called the Cyclones and that they would have to rename the band for the recording. They came up with the name the Crowd.
They recorded their single at Abbey Road Studios London in 1964 they were booked in the studio after Cliff Richard
and the Shadows who were recording their single (On the Beach)at the time ,Norrie Paramour from Columbia Records plays piano on the record for the band. They spent a total of three days in the studio at Abbey Road recording lots of demos.
