A British singer and actor who was the lead singer of the Rock n’ Roll Group “The Drifters.” In the early days he was marketed as the British equivalent of Elvis Presley. He has sold 215 million singles total sales in the UK and has amassed several gold and platinum discs awards in a career spanning over 65 years.
