Internationally renowned UK guitarist Hank Marvin has earned legendary status across generations.
From his iconic early years with THE SHADOWS to his masterful explorations of rock ‘n’ roll, swing, and gypsy jazz, Marvin’s unmistakable technical precision, rhythmic finesse, and soul-stirring artistry have left a strong and lasting impact on music lovers worldwide.
Now, he returns to Melbourne with his acclaimed Gypsy Swing ensemble for two exclusive MEMO performances. Joining him on stage are long-time collaborators Nunzio Mondia (accordion) and Gary Taylor (rhythm guitar), delivering a spellbinding fusion of virtuosity and timeless melodies.
Audiences can expect a mesmerising evening featuring selections from their critically acclaimed albums ‘Django’s Castle’ and ‘Foolin’ With The Feds’, alongside fresh interpretations of beloved Shadows classics.
